Our Team

The team at Corporate Gloves all have extensive experience in and out of the ring when it comes to boxing, kickboxing and strength and conditioning. Collectively, they’ve got over 100 years worth of experience, ranging from Masters in Strength and Conditioning to being involved in the industry for decades.

Christian Ennor

Christian is trainer to boxing legend Sam “King” Soliman and has taken him and others pro boxers to win titles both nationally and internationally. Christian started his PT career at the first PT studio in Melbourne – Harpers. Not only has he trained some of the best fighters, he is approachable, knowledgeable and fun to train with.

Working with high level professional athletes, Christian has the ability to pass on all the training and work ethics from his athletes to his everyday clients. He loves seeing people achieving their goals and having fun whilst doing so.

Nick Kara

Former WMTA light cruiserweight world champion, ISKAL light cruiserweight Australian Champion and IKBF Australian cruiserweight champion, Nick’s world class fighting experience makes his boxing and kickboxing sessions packed with good technique and intense fitness. He has fought and trained all around the world – you may have seen him on the Ultimate Fighter Series where he was the striking coach.

Nick's world class experience as a fighter and a coach brings a wealth of knowledge to the sessions. Having dealt with experienced fighters in demanding and stressful situations preparing for fights, Nick delivers the same mindset to his clients.

Diana Thumm

Diana is an accomplished amateur boxer who’s ‘never give up’ attitude transfers to her personal training sessions. Air hostess by day and boxing trainer by night, Diana’s strict and disciplined routine training for her fights has been a significant contributor to her success at work.

She has become an expert at managing her time and being flexible. Applying these skills Diana has been able to maintain two jobs whilst training to fight.

Tony Torcasio

Tony has won Victorian, East Coast and Australian titles during his kickboxing career, with an equally impressive boxing record and remains undefeated during his time in the ring. At the age of 55 years old Tony has also set Australian records for Powerlifting.

He’s a motivation to everyone that age is only a number and that you can still remain fit, healthy and strong in your later years. He’s the prime example of leading a healthy lifestyle and reaping all the benefits that boxing, kickboxing and strength training has to offer.

Phil Catalucci

As a highly experienced fitness professional with an extensive knowledge of functional, sports specific, weight loss, general health and fitness training, Phil has a proven ability to deliver optimum support and training to ensure all clients achieve their desired goals. Phil has trained amateur and professional fighters from beginners to Olympians and Commonwealth Games boxers.

With excellent knowledge and experience in rehab and prehab Phil devises programs to help people be more functional, not only when training but in the activities they perform day to day, at home and at work.

Pharrell Shaymar

Known as the “Pad Technician” Pharrell gives his clients a full body work out through the art of striking. He will take you through a pad session for both boxing and kickboxing to ensure you leave the gym totally exhausted and totally satisfied.

Always aspiring to learn, grow and develop as a trainer himself Pharrell is constantly pushing and finding new ways to challenge and inspire his clients in a holistic way.

Tiffanee Cook

Tiff began boxing at FightFit – competing in the FightFit Challenge twice – and now competes as an amateur. In her short time as an amateur she has won the Novice Victorian Title 2 years running. She’s high energy, positive and passionate about all things nutrition and fitness, Tiff has a ‘train hard, fight easy’ attitude which shines through in her sessions.

Starting off as a member at Fightfit, then eventually becoming a full time trainer. Tiff transitioned from the corporate world into the fitness industry. This has given her the inside knowledge and experience of what challenges people can face in the office and how lessons and skills learned at training can be applied to overcome them.

Cameron Eyes

A talented amateur boxer, recently retired professional fighter and sport scientist, Cam understands both the theoretical and practical aspects of boxing, and more importantly how to use them to create a tough workout for his clients.

Cam fully understands the physiological and mental attributes it takes to be the best. He loves educating his clients to give them the tools to be successful at the gym, home and work.

Sam Battaglia

One of only a few high-school accredited teachers with a 3rd degree black belt, Sam has been involved in boxing and martial arts for over 25 years.

Sam’s vast knowledge of boxing and his experience as a high school teacher has given him the ability to identify the best method for his clients to learn. Sam has the tools to help people understand using a variety of techniques depending on their learning style. He uses boxing training as a major tool to teach his students, discipline, respect and self-awareness. He gives his students and clients the tools to deal with different situations at home and at work.

Mark Derrick

With qualifications in teaching (he’s also currently completing a masters in strength and conditioning), as well as boxing and kickboxing experience, Mark brings his wealth of knowledge from many sporting disciplines to his clients offering a comprehensive coaching service. Mark was also a national level swimmer and swimming/strength coach for many years before starting at FightFit.

Shek Sinha

Shek pushes all his clients to their maximum potential, there’s no hiding or slacking off in his sessions. With a background in teaching, Shek understands how to explain ideas and techniques in a variety of ways to ensure that his clients are getting the most out of their sessions. He also works with Olympic athletes through to everyday people who want to get fitter, stronger and more out of their bodies.

Dave Trotter

Our resident Commando, Dave served in the Australian Army for 6 years. He is a boxing, kickboxing and CrossFit coach who has had MMA fights locally and internationally. Dave’s morals align with the way he coaches. He’s a strong believer in routine, hard work, discipline, respect and mental toughness. Dave is also a hardworking dedicated father of two. All of this comes across in his style of training, he has a no excuse policy!

Dinesh Kanth

Dinesh has competed in boxing, kickboxing, and muay thai for 20 years, with 28 professional fights and 25 wins (most by knockout!). He has 10 years’ experience as a personal trainer and is passionate and enthusiastic about helping people improve their health and fitness and teaching martial arts. His sessions are not for the faint hearted as he pushes to the limit!

Along with his fight experience, Dinesh has spent an extensive amount of time practicing Yoga and Meditation in India. 

Eric Diamandstein

Eric has fought and trained in both boxing, kickboxing with some of the best fighters in Australia. He has excellent technical knowledge of both sports, which gives him the ability to teach people of all levels, from beginners through to people wanting to fight. He is always the most popular trainer for the FightFit Challenge because of his technical knowledge, ability to connect with people and make them comfortable. You'll always learn something in his sessions and walk away needing a little sleep!

Neil Sjostrom

Neil has been involved in the health and fitness industry for over 15 years and has a breadth of knowledge and skills to cater to a wide variety of needs. Neil’s career has seen him working in the fields of Strength and Conditioning, Personal Training and Sports Myotherapy as well as having trained multiple national and world amateur boxing champions. As a current Senior Lecturer on the Bachelor of Health Science (Clinical Myotherapy) at Torrens University Neil’s passion for teaching is what drives his results with his clients. Neil has a particular interest in training clients with previous or existing injuries and loves the challenge of teaching people more efficient and effective ways of moving.

John Verbi

John has worked in Community & Corporate Health for over 30 years regularly presenting to some of the largest companies in Australia including Esso, BHP, Shell, NAB, ANZ and Santos. He is a recognised keynote speaker at conferences and has a particular skill for presenting a fun and enjoyable session in any environment. Getting the crowd involved helps to identify both the groups strengths and weaknesses in a short period of time and highlights  simple, user-friendly ways to implement changes for maximum benefit. He also presents on such topics as Work Life Balance, as well as Stress and Self Management and Avoiding Burnout. John believes… ”People who manage themselves well, build better teams and better organisations”.
